Kidderminster Aid in Sickness Fund charity provides monetary grants to those both suffering from ill health and in financial need. Applicants must live in the former borough of Kidderminster in Worcestershire, UK

What are the criteria for applying?

Eligibility for Grants:

  • Applicant must reside in the former borough of Kidderminster. ie. Postcode within the former borough of Kidderminster, not wider Wyre Forest area.
  • Applicants must present clear evidence of illness and financial need. ie. suffering from physical or mental illness.
  • Applicants (or their agent) must fill in a completed application form, supporting information form, and provided additional proof of circumstances (supporting Doctor’s / Medical letter, Social Services letter, or any other supporting agency letter).

  • Applications are considered from individuals and / or organisations.

  • Examples of monetary grants awarded normally range between £100 and £2,000 per application.

  • Trustees only give assistance to individuals if satisfied that such individuals are deserving and in need.

  • Trustees are willing to consider applications for more unusual items such nursery fees, school uniforms, disability aids and therapy.
